Men's Bifold Leather Wallets

The bifold wallet is a classic for a reason — it strikes the perfect balance between storage and slim carry. Our bifold wallets are handcrafted from full grain, vegetable-tanned leather in our Texas workshop. Each one is hand-cut from a single piece of leather and stitched by hand for strength that machine stitching can't match.

Built to Last a Lifetime

Full grain leather is the strongest, most durable grade available. Unlike bonded or top grain alternatives, it develops a rich patina over time — getting better with age, not worse. Our bifold wallets hold 6-8 cards, have a full-length bill compartment, and fit comfortably in your back pocket.

Make It Yours

Add custom engraving for a personalized touch. Whether it's initials, a date, or a short message, we'll hand-engrave it right here in our shop. Free shipping on orders over $65. Backed by our 60-Day No Bull Guarantee.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a bifold leather wallet better than a synthetic wallet?

Full-grain leather is the only material that gets better with age — it develops a patina unique to how you carry it, becoming more supple and character-rich over years of use. Synthetic wallets crack, peel, and degrade. A handmade full-grain bifold from Bull Sheath Leather will outlast a dozen synthetic wallets and look sharper for it.

How many cards can a bifold leather wallet hold?

Our bifold wallets are built to carry 6–8 cards comfortably without bulging, plus a full-length cash slot. We design them slim on purpose — if you need to carry 15 cards, you need to clean out your wallet, not buy a bigger one.

Will a leather bifold wallet stretch out over time?

Full-grain leather does break in and mold to your carry style over time — that's a feature, not a bug. The fibers loosen slightly and the wallet conforms to your pocket. What it won't do is lose structural integrity or develop that saggy, formless look cheap wallets get after a few months.

How do I clean and condition a bifold leather wallet?

Wipe it down with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Every few months, apply a small amount of leather conditioner (we recommend Leather Honey or Bick 4) with a soft cloth, let it absorb, and buff off the excess. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from water when possible.

Are your bifold wallets handmade?

Every wallet we sell is handmade in Texas. We cut, stitch, and finish each piece by hand using full-grain leather — not mass-produced in a factory overseas. That's why they're built to last and why no two are exactly alike.

How long will a Bull Sheath bifold leather wallet last?

With basic care, a full-grain leather bifold wallet should last 10–20 years. We've had customers contact us about wallets that are 15 years old and still going strong. The key is full-grain leather (not genuine or bonded), quality stitching, and occasional conditioning.

What's the difference between your bifold and trifold wallets?

Bifolds fold once and sit slimmer in your front or back pocket — ideal if you carry fewer than 10 cards and want minimal bulk. Trifolds fold twice and offer more card and cash storage, but add some thickness. If you're trying to go slimmer, start with a bifold or one of our minimalist wallets.
